That is so rockin!! Thinking back to 1984... that was shortly after the Apple III "pick it up and drop it a couple of inches to seat the card because the automated building system didn't push them in right" phase. Ah, the good ol' days!! :)
What a great thing Guy - but moreso? Think about the impact you've had on someone that they kept it for 24 yrs!
Good to see that Rainbow logo... And I used to think Evangelist is the 2k+ term... however it existed from 80's only... Gr8 Card and the person have preserved it well... HE anticipated ur success quite ago... Best of Luck...
Very, very cool. I still have some of those rainbow stickers and a few other artifacts. I may even have the rough draft of "Selling the Dream" that I proofread!
Who was it that wrote, "One of the deep mysteries to me is our logo, the symbol of lust and knowledge, bitten into, all crossed, with the colors of the rainbow in the wrong order. You couldn't dream of a more appropriate logo: lust, knowledge, hope, anarchy?"
Props to your title! You actually had two phone numbers? Oh those halcyon pre-mobile phone-pre-email-website days! Plus, that's the famous year the Macintosh was released. For those of you who weren't even born when Guy was handing out his cards... here's the famous Apple Ad introducing the Macintosh computer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R706isyDrqI

One day I might be at Apple. Crossing fingers while applying for jobs there. =)
