Will.i.am kicked off the party on Mars with the song “Reach For the Stars,” which provided plenty of laughs at NASA and likely marks the first time an earthly song has been played on an alien planet, unless something illegally downloaded the soundtrack traveling on Voyager that includes songs by Beethoven, Mozart, Stravinsky and Chuck Berry, to name a few.

You can bet the recording companies are hoping that if that’s the case, they’ll eventually be collecting some sweet interplanetary fines.
