National Geographic’s Peeps in Places contest

Media_httpfarm5static_uqyej

Marshmallow Peeps packed their candy-coated suitcases and ventured off for a trip to explore the world. The result? Sugary Easter treats photographed in places like the Alamo, Versailles, and Seattle. Ok, the Peeps didn’t exactly book airline tickets and take little bus tours around Europe—National Geographic ran a contest asking readers to take snapshots of the Easter basket staple around the world. Either way, it’s quite cute.

Thanks Guy for featuring our Peeps in Places! We weren't planning to do it this year (we were overwhelmed with entries last time) but so many people wrote to ask us that we gave in. Rachel Cotterill missed out last year because she couldn't find a Peep in Britain, but this year she procured a green rabbit Peep and she's taking him on holiday to the Faroe Islands and maybe Greenland if he lasts that long http://bit.ly/a7GdwP
