New spray-on treatment heals burns in days
Regenerative medicine is a fascinating field, and it’s latest development is truly amazing. The Skin Gun is a spray gun that can literally heal severe burn wounds in a matter of days. The process only takes ninety minutes, which eliminates the downside of all previous burn treatments—the time factor.
Basically, a small patch of the victim’s healthy skin is taken, then Dr. Jörg Gerlach and his team put those stem cells in a water solution, and mist the liquid onto the patient’s wounds. The burns are wrapped in a special bandage that delivers glucose, amino acids, sugar, and antibiotics to clean the wound and provide nutrition for regrowth and voila!
