Nice guys win in the end

The concept that “nice guys finish last” is bull shiitake. Don’t believe what you see on reality shows—life isn’t like that. And don’t believe what you read in autobiographies either. Rajesh Setty provides an interesting conceptual framework on why nice guys win in the long term.

Don’t get me wrong—there are plenty of very successful assholes. The question is: Were they assholes to start and this personality helped them succeed or did they achieve success and then become assholes since people will put up with bull shiitake from successful people?

To succeed, you have to deal with too much shiitake for most "good guys" .. by the time you go through the mill of dealing with all sides, from govt rules and regulations, to customers, to vendors, to landlords, to lawyers, banks, to employees, to be sued by employees.. etc etc etc, anyone that comes out the otehr end with a SMILING face, and remaining "Good Guy" is a true Saint! I admire and envy those and trying to emulate and stay "Good" with a smile... but it aint easy.
