Obama set to add Twitter CEO to Advisory Committee
It’s no secret that President Barack Obama knows the value of technology, but he’s taking that passion to a new level by planning to draft Twitter CEO Dick Costolo to his National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee.
The White House released a statement Thursday that revealed Costolo (along with Microsoft’s corporate VP, the president of McAfee, and three others) as potential appointees. This Advisory Committee is responsible for overseeing availability and reliability of telecom services in the U.S.
