Obama tweets for first time
Whatever your politics, it's pretty safe to say that President Obama does not agree with the Shakespearian quip, "Brevity is the soul of wit." That being said, he deserves some credit for being able to laugh at himself during the recent town hall meeting, which was where he composed his first tweet. He joked, "One last point—I know Twitter, I'm supposed to be short." During the town hall meeting, cleverly enough consisting of 140 invited guests, Obama fielded questions from twitter users, including one Republican John Boehner, Speaker of the House of Representatives. Apparently Mr. Boehner's spelling is less than perfect, drawing some criticism from Obama.
