Old people pwn the Internet

Turns out we're wrong if we think Grandma is technologically inept. According to a new CTAM Pulse report, those 65 and up are actually totally active online. Just some of the facts from the report on silver surfers show that:

- 94% regularly use email.

- 77% shop online.

- 71% read health and medical information online.

- 70% read news online.

Thinking about how AARP magazine carries some of the largest circulation in periodicals, it should be no surprise that elders hold so much purchasing power and online influence. I suppose we can't say Confucius didn't say so.

Good for them! Stereotype is a terrible thing, and older (not old!) people are far wiser and more aware than we give them credit for! Good for them indeed!

1/3 of our customer base is over 50 years old, and several of them are making in the high six figures online, with very basic websites. Truly amazing.
