Pee for a better garden

Why is the grass always greener? Urine, as it turns out. Keepers at a British National Trust property are encouraging folks to pee for a greener garden, according to the BBC. The "pee bale," as it is called, is a straw bale used to capture the urine before distributing it on the grass.

Here's a keeper quote from the article:

"There are obvious logistical benefits to limiting it to male members of the team, but also male pee is preferable to women's, as the male stuff is apparently less acidic."

Mary, Mary, quite contrary, how does your garden grow?
On second thought, keep your mouth shut, I don't really want to know.

More on staying green.

Interesting. I wonder if dogs' urine also apply to this.

You can't just go pee on your garden, what the article doesn't tell you is that the pee actually helps break down compost which is then used in the gardern.

Well, I guess this rules me out. Any downtown area should be lush with greenery, same with back alleys.
