A poll conducted in New Zealand has found that Kiwis judge viewing porn online as more “morally acceptable” than pirating music. Researchers report that 21 percent of respondents find it acceptable for a married person to surf the internet for porn, compared to 18 percent of people who believed downloading copyright music was okay.

Other findings of the poll include:

• 82% believed internet dating is morally acceptable for single people
• Males find online porn viewing more acceptable than females
• 31% have no problem with web users viewing copyrighted material on YouTube or other comparable video sites.

How do you think the results of the New Zealand poll would stack up against the same poll conducted elsewhere?
