Pop culture peanuts
A good artist takes what’s on hand and creates something that touches that thought or sentiment those of us without a creative streak can’t express, but a great artist takes a peanut and creates a pop culture icon.
Now that’s a sentiment you can sink your teeth into.
Steve Casino, self-described “Painter of Nuts,” is just such a great artist, who lets the onlooker get a handful of pop culture past in the palm of their hand.
No frills, no frou-frou, simply a nut for nuts.
