  • Interesting? He leaves out the obvious strikes within each animal form that Bruce uses and he never explains why the animal observed and used as a form would attack. Each of the animal forms used has the element of deception and sets of different priorities’ as to what will be attacked and what weaknesses on the opponent will be exploited. The animal forms are a copy of the animal in terms of how that specific animal would use its body in strategy to attack and what targets get prioritized on the opponent after deciding on the opponents preferred strategy and body type and form. Bruce also leaves out the fact that several targets are struck with each single motion as compared to Nippon/Japanese Jujitsu or Chinese/Japanese Te.

Ancient Asian/Indian/Chinese Martial Arts maim the targets that are struck with as few motions as possible. Japanese strategy revolves around the blade or sword and are considered hard body conditioning arts based upon hard body conditioning while most other Asian arts are based on speed and deception. They Indian/Chinese usually include hard body conditioning later where as Japanese are hard straight through. Very good!

Like all the geniuses, he bloomed and died as fast as his fast Kung Fu was. What a loss to humanity.

  • There will never be another man, like Bruce Lee!

  • John N.

    There will never be another.

Back then they laughed at Bruce behind his back because they didn’t understand his philosophy, his art and because of that is why he wasn’t the shining star he was suppose to be (in Hollywood’s eyes) in America until later on, so the only fully American movie we got was Enter The Dragon, I have to agree with Sebastein, I wish he had more time. This is just amazing and no one has been able to copy his art to date. I’m sure there are many who have tried and are very good but there was/is only one Bruce Lee!

With MMA being the newest representation of real hand to hand combat, I’ve yet to see any of the traditional styles survive. Mr. Lee also believe in a real fight one should know how to do what one could 100%, and to get to this level it required 100% dedication so that when you called upon it , it would be there. When your opponent has knowledge of fighting it changes the game, and comes down to who’s on top in that second of time. A no rules street fight or a MMA type arena is the only places these arts can be put to the test (hopefully without permanent damage to your opponent).

Love Bruce Lee but this footage is not really Rare. It is in numerous specials and Documentaries about the man. I have seen this footage a lot. That being said… the footage is cool because it is before or around the time Bruce was coming up with Jeet Kune Do and does not have his later moves.

  • That was my CHINIZZLE!

  • ToddFromTexas

I forgot the interview, which is funny because he changed his view a couple of years later when he saw ,the promblems with wingchun kungfu, and adapted it , if he was alive today he would laugh at his own arrogance
