Never thought you had the space to grow fifty plants? Think again with an incredibly innovative idea called the Garden Tower.
Basically, it’s a barrel filled with soil with a tube running down the middle for depositing kitchen scraps, which are then composted by red wigglers. The water goes in the top, minimizing waste, and the worms travel in and out of the inside tube via holes, aerating the soil and spreading nutrients on the plants.
It’s so simple, all you inventive gardeners out there are probably wondering why you didn’t think of this first, but the Garden Tower Project is getting its Kickstarter campaign off and running starting tomorrow, so be sure to check it out.
And the best part? Minimal weeding.
