I'm one of those that got to play with the original Mac when I was in High School! The release date is also my mom's birthday. I was a Mac Guru at that time, modifying the OS to my tastes. And then, the business teachers near the Mac lab also learned from me...

Bought my first one in 1985. No such thing as a hard drive, but it did have a snazzy external disk drive! Imagine - 2 floppies!

I still have not forgiven my parents for buying me a Commodore Amiga when all the other kids were getting Macs.
