San Francisco prepares for epic light show [videos]
If you plan on being in San Francisco on March 5th, you won’t want – and possibly won’t be able – to miss the sparking of The Bay Lights, an enormous light show designed by Leo Villareal, which will illuminate the almost two-mile Bay Bridge with more than 25,000 white programmable LED lights.
If you don’t have plans to be on the West Coast this spring, though, no worries; the show will run for the next two years to the delight of an estimated fifty million visitors, though a few lucky people have gotten a sneak peek over the last couple of days with cameras in hand.
Below is an interview with the artist himself, followed by a preview for the rest of us.
