Sensitive sniffers have sensitive souls

More interesting Science tidbits.

If you often find yourself asking the question “What’s that smell?,” then you might also be the one in your group of friends that tears up first during “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.” A new study reveals that people with most intense smelling senses tend to be more sympathetic to others’ emotions. So, what does your schnoz have to do with your feelings? Turns out the connection is both functional and anatomical and that smell and emotion originate from the same areas of the brain. Hmm, so maybe being the first to sense the funk isn't so bad after all.

I don't have a great sense of smell... so this meaningful study labels me as insensitive :)

So when I'm pissed that some idiot is burning coffee (which I abhor) and starting my day off badly, am I sensitive or not?
