Social networking clothing exchange anything but sloppy seconds
Fans of high fashion may not be too keen on the thrift store scene, but the new I-ELLA might be right up their runway. Members can buy, swap or borrow clothing boasting Hermes, Diane Von Furstenberg and Herve Leger labels, take part in celebrity clothing auctions and also get a pat on the back for using the site, since part of each transaction is donated to a charity chosen by users.
Besides making high-end fashion more accessible to the wardrobe needy, founder Ella T. Gorgla stresses that her site has a larger purpose:
“One of our main goals is to make social change second nature for our shoppers.”
