It is every parent’s worst nightmare to awake in the middle of the night to find a child missing, much less that that child decided to cruise the highway on his scooter. A five-year-old from southern Illinois decided to hit the open road to visit a friend in Carbondale clad only in his Spiderman jammies and was picked up by police after apparently using two major roadways. One has to wonder if he began to doubt his super powers after traveling two long miles in the dark.
