A crazy new machining innovation involves using a Watts or Reuleaux drill to make a square hole. While using a spinning drill bit to produce a square cut out seems counter-intuitive, it really works. And apparently the idea for this technology has been kicking around since 1917!

They arent new, we had them in high school shop class 20 years ago.
