Stanley the train goes to space [video]

In the words of Sir Topham Hatt, “Stanley, we’re not on the island of Sodor, anymore.”

Fostering an interest in science at an early age is a wonderful thing, and though many a parent would be in deep trouble if they decided to launch one of their child’s Thomas the Train set into space, Ron Fugelseth’s son thought his beloved Stanley was ready to be freed from his peers in the shed to explore the stratosphere.

To add to the experience, Fugelseth animated Stanley’s face through the video for a trip his little boy will never forget.
