Sweethearts + Twitter = Tweethearts

Media_httpiusatodayne_qbmyf

Long before 140 characters became the trendy way to communicate, a chalky-tasting candy ruled the short message scene with lovey-dovey phrases no more than a couple words long. Valentine’s Day staple Sweethearts is teaming up with Twitter to bring a social media styled love note to the candy eating masses: “Tweet Me.”

Tweet Me isn’t the 145-year-old candy company’s first dive into the techie world with past phrases including the decidedly less cool “Fax Me” and “Email Me.” Awww, how tweet!

All the sweetest Twitter news.
