The art of recycled surfboards
Where do surfboards go after they retire? To landfills, apparently, where they waste away. Surf shop owner Jayme Noe, however, has a new, more earth-friendly solution for the boards, according to Treehugger. Instead of letting the boards build up on the land, Jayme uses trashed boards as canvases for stunning landscape portraits. His company, The Recycled Surfboard Art Program, then sells the pieces to folks looking to decorate their homes or businesses.
