The cloud is all the rage lately. So much so, that 95% of us use it daily, but aren’t aware of it. The problem is that most users frequent sites daily that use the cloud as a primary function in how they operate, and people still don’t understand. This is just stupid. A third of these yahoos actually think it has to do with the weather – sigh. To dispel any confusion right away, the cloud has nothing to do with the weather and everything to do with the Internet.
The cloud refers to an application that is hosted or run on Internet servers. Many are familiar with companies like Google, Facebook, Yahoo, Flickr, and Apple; who all have servers or server farms where they store your media.
