The importance of storytelling

Check out this interview with Michael Margolis, president of Get Storied and author of Believe Me. In it he explains the role and importance of storytelling for leaders. Here’s my favorite line in the interview:

Anytime you’re introducing something new or different, you have to paint a picture that others can actually relate to. Otherwise, your idea is just plain dead on arrival.

More help for innovators.

Perfect quotation! How many authors paint such pictures in what is published by "traditional" publishers today? And then they say WestBow Authors are quite, quite inferior to them.

Forgot to say- the "Superior" authors are in such a bad way because the agents have got them that way- editing their stuff to death!

Here is my favorite! "We’re all thirsty for the bigger story. It’s your job as a creative leader to find and tell the bigger story"

This is a really awesome Article! thanks for posting, Guy.

Creative leadership means listening to the spontaneity of our intuition. We all have it..Its' just about letting it guide us.
