The Lunar New Year, AKA Chinese New Year, began February 4th of 2011, marking the Year of the Rabbit. But unlike how New Year’s Eve is a big, sparkly, ball-dropping party for North America—the Lunar New Year is actually the most important date on the calendar for China.
