The rock-a-bye bed
Outgrowing the bassinet no longer has to mean losing the comfort of being gently rocked to sleep thanks to designer Joe Manus, inventor of the Rocking Bed, who has brought the experience full circle, so to speak.
Available in sizes ranging from full to king, this upcycled frame can be taken apart when the moving van comes to call and also includes a rubber stop for those who discover their unique bedframe induces a nasty case of seasickness.
Manus’ description of the product is, “Dream your dreams, love your lover, and rest your soul,” but we can’t help recalling the phrase, “If the bedframe’s rockin’, don’t come a-knockin’.”
In all seriousness, though, it is a lovely design and one we’d covet if space weren’t an issue.
