Rogue leader (not in a Sarah Palin kind of way) Rebecca Crane studied the plethora of planets depicted in the Star Wars film series and applied her knowledge to create a new map of the United States. The United States of Star Wars (or USSW for more drama) replaces regular boring states with planets or locations from Star Wars.

Planets were assigned based on partial terrain, landmarks that correlate with the planet and state, types of people in the state and planet, famous landmarks, or slightly randomly selected (but loosely based on facts) from my brother and myself.

Poor Maine got stuck with Naboo, the home of incessantly irritating Jar Jar Binks. Note to self: Avoid Maine.
