TIME magazine puts breastfeeding front and center for its latest cover story with a powerful image certain to trigger conversation. The accompanying article examines the rise in attachment parenting, a method made popular by The Baby Book, a 1992 publication by Dr. Bill Sears and his wife, Martha.
Photographer Martin Schoeller shot images of four families that adhere to the parenting philosophy, including cover subject Jamie Lynne Grumet, 26, and her 3-year-old son.
