Time's person of the year: The Chinese Worker?
He or she apparently made the shortlist, announced Time managing editor Rick Stengel yesterday on the “Today” show. The Huffington Post quotes Stengel explaining, “”They are an increasingly influential group in one of the world’s most powerful economies.”
To me, this is kind of a weird new twist on 1960s Chinese propaganda. We’ll see how the Chinese workers pit themselves against Steve Jobs, who is also in the running.
