Too much computer time hurts ability to innovate & remember, say scientists
Your brain on computers? Apparently not so hot, at least according to some research. Constant interaction with computer devices is robbed brains of much needed downtime in some studies. This means that overzealous geeks diminish their ability to learn, remember information, and come up with new ideas. One study showed that people who took a walk in nature learned significantly better than those who took a walk in a busy urban area, suggesting that information overload impedes learning.
