Here’s an example of video show with the Nikon D90. Posterous does process it, so I don’t know if you can get the total impact of it. However, it is the real world in the sense that I shot video and then deployed it to a blog. .
Cool! Any chance you could link to the original hi def version? I've been using a Canon S3 IS which offers 640x480@30fps while offering stereo 44KHz sound so I wanted to see whether the extra weight and sound sacrifice was worth it...
I'm not sure whether I'm more impressed that there's finally a DSLR with video - and not at all bad video at that - or by the fact that you just let him ride his bike straight into the pool!
Guy! Build the kid a ramp!! he's gotta get some air

Is the lack of autofocus or viewfinder in the video mode a big drawback? Would you take this on a trip instead of lugging along a still and video camera both? Finally, if I am starting all over with Nikon, should I get the kit lense package or wait and buy the body only and a higher quality lense? Oops, one last one -- concerned about the file sizes for video taking up a lot of room...is a 2GB card sufficient to take on a trip or do I need larger? Thanks very much.
Better quality than I imagined. Good enough for casual use, perhaps?
Tho' I did a double take - worried for a split second that it might be my Noah taking the jump! Mom would have a cow! Oh, your pool? No problem. =) cheers

The video coming out of the new Canon 5dmkII pretty much blows the D90 out of the water.

We were thinking of waiting for the D90 but just bought the D80 as we don't see ourselves doing much if any video clips.
