Visualizing the internet’s 300,000 most popular websites

Grabbing the favicons of the 300,000 most popular web destinations, Nmap.org created an interesting visualization of the internet popularity contest. The popularity of the websites determined the size of the favicon with Google dominating the board at 11,936 x 11,936 pixels and the teeniest-tiniest icons coming in at 16 x 16 pixels.
