Wall-E comes to life for cancer survivors’ picnic [video]

There are labors of love and then there are seriously labor-intensive labors of love, and the second is where robot enthusiast Mike Senna clearly falls.

Using screen shots and posters of the most lovable film character to never utter a word, Senna and building partner Mike McMaster brought this screen star to life and brought him to the pediatric Hope Cancer Survivors Picnic.

Senna worked twenty-five hours a week over and above his full-time job to complete the project, and he already has a functional R2-D2 under his belt as well, which you can see in action in the second video below.
