I just learned the govWorks.com lesson, I had a business partner who just decided he didn't want to go in business anymore, right after I invested my money into our business, he he hadn't put anything in.

Memory lane is right - these startups (mostly) folded during dot-bomb. This story needs to be rewritten with some current examples.

wow. definitely good lessons to remember though for some of the companies starting out today. some of these names are just all too familiar.
