What your shoes say about your personality
Sporting sneaks? Science says you’re probably agreeable. Researchers claim your shoes provide the people around you with a window to your sole–err, soul.
A team at the University of Kansas in Lawrence conducted a study that examined the relationship between a person’s footwear and their personality. The researchers asked 208 college students aged 18 to 55 to supply a photo of the kicks they wear most often and followed up with a personality test. A group of 63 people then analyzed images of the study participants’ shoes to guess each shoe wearer’s personality, age, and economic background.
The results might have you rethinking that pair of pricey ankle boots.
