Who will people follow now that the Twitter Suggest User list is biting the dust? Here are three sources that are helpful.

If you have nothing better to do and want to see something interesting, try comparing who are the most followed people and who’s on these lists.

Thanks for the alternatives. Twitter Grader is at least a way to find people in a specific locale.

Twitalyzer - influence
TweetLevel - influence, popularity, engagement, trust

That being said, popularity is the LAST reason why I follow anyone, and I'm certain I'm not alone in that.

Twitter lists and retweets from tweeps I follow already let me find people with similar interests, knowledge, and opinions.
