Snapping a photo of a woman’s underwear drying on a clothesline could cost Google a few thousand dollars. A women in Japan is suing the internet giant after Street View cameras captured an image of her unmentionables swaying in the wind.
The woman claims the image caused her overwhelming anxiety and she feared it could make her “a target of a sex crime.” The perturbed panty drier packed up her possessions and moved after discovering the photograph online and wants Google to pay 600,000 Yen (about $7,000) for her troubles.
