Is the cupcake bubble about to burst, leaving us all with frosting and sprinkles on our faces? The cutesy-sized cake trend hit overdrive in the past couple years, but NPR’s Jacob Goldstein says expect an end to a cupcake shop on every corner.
Yahoo’s Shine looked at cupcakes and six other food trends that will likely hit the retirement home in the near future. So what foodies fads will be joining cupcakes? According to Shine; bubble tea, lava cake, truffle salt, tuna tartare, the communal table, and chipotle chili.
