Translators Without Borders needs you to validate medical terms. It won’t take much of your time – and it will make a huge difference.

Translators without Borders has created the biggest database ever (12,000 terms) of simplified medical terms. These terms will be used to simplify the 100-most-read Wikipedia medical articles before translating them into key African and Indic languages (languages that often do not have the terminology or the translator base to handle sophisticated medical terms). They also will be used to create simplified English articles of these important health topics.

But we must first validate the terms – that is where we need you! It is simple and can be done on your own time. Do as little or as much as you can. And make a difference to billions.

We are looking for licensed medical doctors with expertise in the following areas: brain and senses, cancer, heart health, infections, immune system, maternal and child health, mental health, public health, and trauma to help us.
