  • Ummmmmmm…wow…

Blows my mind that the US is involved in so many other meaningless fights and not this one

  • this is why it upsets me when people say things like: God never gives us more than we can handle; and if you are positive, and optimistic, good things will always come to you; and you may not get what you want, but you get what you need; and The average pencil is seven inches long, with just a half-inch eraser – in case you thought optimism was dead.

many people all over the world do not get what they need, every single day.

"What doesn't kill [you] makes [you] stronger", but quite often it will leave you slowly bleeding to death, from wounds others cannot see.

  • +Richelieu Williams they have nothing [we] want.

we sit on our hands, whilst genocides are happening, and we have done so for a very long time.

it is one of the reasons i want so very badly to leave, and never return.

  • I read this yesterday… wow, this one man has made such a huge difference in the lives of so many!

  • What a horror.  We just launched grassroots efforts in Kenya where many refugees from Congo live.  It's amazing to see these women empowered and teaching others.

  • It is heart warming to read about the doctor. Heart wrenching to read about the plight of the women of Congo! may God save them!

  • What a lot of people don't know is that a similar amount of male rape victims exist in Congo, but they're not looked after half as well, which is pretty concerning. That, and in comparison, male homicide is far more common than female homicide.

  • No words to describe what the women went through. We are all equal and must treat each other with respect and compassion. The doctor is a hero.

  • It’s hard to understand so much hatred for women. This doctor is a saint.
