Over time, text messaging has earned a bad rap with experts saying it ruins social interaction, writing skills, and expression — not to mention it contributes to dangerous behaviors, like texting while driving.
Nonetheless, it’s a convenient way and cheap way to keep in touch, and some doctors and organizations are finding new ways to improve people’s lives thanks to the simple text message.
