The next time you go to grab a coffee in the morning, look around at the people in line waiting with you. Some may be in quiet conversation with a friend, or engaging the barista in the brew of the day; but, many will be head down and engrossed by their smartphones, and zombified to the world around them.
It’s scary to think about, but true: The zombie apocalypse is already upon us. Social media has turned us into slaves to our own devices and social networks. “Turn on, tune in, drop out,” has taken on a whole new meaning in the 21st century.
