What does a billion pennies look like?

I’m still in awe! After showing this slide, I would remind the audience, "And, that’s a stack of PENNIES not Fresh, Crisp, Greenbacks." This reminded me of Quizinaire Rods and Base-Ten manipulatives used, when I taught multiplication and division to my students. Having the visual tools made it much easier to understand for them.
