Why you should chill before you make a big decision

A study at the Maastricht University School of Business and Economics shows why you should take your time when you make a decision. When subjects in the study were forced to fill out a questionaire—delaying a decision by ten minutes—75% of the participants accepted the most logical and best option. Without this delay, very few did.

    This is exactly why car sales people never want prospective buyers to leave the lot. My friend who worked at a Honda dealership was told by his manager, "never let the customer say I’ll be back, cuz the be-back bus don’t come back!" 🙂
