World Cup 2010 soccer stats as art

During a tournament as packed with activity as the World Cup, it can be difficult to keep track of event details. It’s funny that the graphic looks a lot like a heart rate monitor given that the games have been keeping hearts racing around the world since the tournament began a few weeks ago.
